Time Corrections in Waveform Files |

SEED format waveform files created since Sep 12/94 have time correction
information incorporated into the Data Header records. Note - these are
*logged* but not applied.
GSE format files, which have no time correction field, have had these time
corrections *applied*. As a consequence, the data start time for some
stations may be shifted a number of seconds. (NOTE: stations whose timing is
uncertain are flagged with a correction of 999.9 seconds!)
The CNDC maintains an historical record of time corrections in a file in our
ftp/exports directory called cnsn_clock_history_DATE (where the DATE reflects
last update).
